Privacy

Photo96.com is an accountless service. You upload a picture and a video, pay once, and receive a public viewing link plus a private management link. We do not create a customer login.

The viewing link is public: anyone with it can open the camera scanner and play your video when they point at the registered picture. Do not share that link if the media should stay private. Camera frames stay on the viewer’s device. Recognition counts are client-reported engagement estimates, not proof of a physical scan.

Pictures you upload may include location or other EXIF metadata. If you keep the whole picture, that metadata can be present in the file we serve to recipients. Cropping produces a new image without that camera metadata. Prefer cropping, or strip metadata before upload, when you do not want it shared.

We use PostHog automatically to understand page visits, creation and checkout progress, scan engagement, and website performance. It uses browser storage to recognize visits. Photos, videos, camera frames, messages, payment details, and private link tokens are excluded from these analytics. We do not record browsing sessions.

Unpaid drafts are deleted after they expire. Paid experiences stay available under the one-time hosting promise until you delete them or we have to remove them for abuse. Payment email is stored so we can send your links and recover access. refund and cancellation policy

Terms

You pay once for one picture, one video, and one lasting public link. That hosting promise covers the published experience itself. It does not cover unlimited re-encoding, extra storage beyond the files you paid for, or replacement if you later delete the experience.

Recipients play the original video file. We do not transcode it. MP4 with H.264 is the most widely playable option; some WebM, HEVC, or MOV files will not play in every browser. Check a representative phone before you rely on a gift or event.

Checkout is provided by Dodo Payments. Their buyer terms and applicable law apply to the payment itself. Photo96.com provides the personalised experience after a successful payment.

Acceptable use

Do not upload illegal content, sexual content involving minors, non-consensual intimate imagery, malware, or material you do not have the right to publish. Do not use Photo96 to harass, defraud, or impersonate others.

We may disable or delete an experience that violates this policy, and we may refuse or refund an order when we cannot safely publish it. Report abuse from the scanner page or email support@photo96.com.
